DISNEYLAND RESORT PARIS

Disneyland Resort Paris is a fantasy world, where visitors of all ages enjoy and have fun. Children feel overwhelmed by witnessing a world that existed only in comics and television.

Disneyland Resort Paris, generally referred to as just Disneyland Paris, is located in the neighbourhood of Paris in Marne-la Valle. It comprises of two different theme parks, Disneyland Paris Park and Walt Disney Studios Park, along with a shopping area called Disney Village. Although, most tourists have knowledge about and are more curious to visit Disneyland Paris Park, Walt Disney Studios Park is also an integral part of Disney and is based on the theme of movie-making. The Disney Village comprises of stores and restaurants for all kinds of shoppers and offering diverse cuisines. Many Disneyland Paris offers combine all these options together to make an all inclusive package.

Disney theme parks are famous for their creativity, use of technology, attention to detail and of course, huge crowds. The main aim of any Disney theme park is to create magic and mesmerize people through fantasy. The employees at Disneyland are called 'cast members', the park is kept perfectly clean and all the machines installed here run in perfect condition. High standard of exclusivity is maintained, for example, one cannot find any Disney character twice – duplicity is prohibited. Although as per regional requirements, there are certain unavoidable differences that one may notice, but otherwise, all Disney theme parks around the world follow the same basic framework.

Disneyland has five main sections, each having a different theme – Discoveryland, Fantasyland, Frontierland and Adventureland and Main Street U.S.A. While Main Street U.S.A. is the central shopping and information zone, the other sections have rides and entertainment options according to their specific themes.  Inside the park, walking is the main mode of transportation, although facility of train is also available if one has to travel from one side of the park to another. This train circles the park and stops at each of the major sections. Free of cost bus service is also available which takes one from Disney Village and the central entrance to the hotels.

Disneyland Resort Paris has a bundle of surprises in store for its visitors. The Castle at Fantasyland is one of the main attractions at Disneyland Paris. Dragon Cave with the sleeping dragon also attracts lots of visitors. The Disney characters are copiously spread throughout the park so that tourists all around the park feel involved. Several Disney characters entertain tourists around the clock, though some of the famous ones like the Mickey, Donald etc. are available only at certain times during the day.

Disneyland also organises various Parades throughout the day, some of which are quite renowned. The Parades comprise of different Disney characters and take place at different setting around the park at different times.

Various shows are also conducted throughout Disneyland Paris. Some of these are Tarzan in Frontierland, Honey I Shrunk the Audience, The Lion King in Discoveryland, Animagique, CineMagique in Walt Disney Studio Park etc.

An important part of Disneyland Paris breaks is the rides. A wide variety of rides is available for visitors of all ages. Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Star Tours and Crush’s Coaster are among the more popular ones.
